Underfloor Insulation

Wool insulation provides the benefits of thermal insulation and sound absorbtion through natural wool fibre bonded into blanket form and attached to the floor joists underneath the premises. The blanket is covered with a layer of polyester.

For added protection, material has been treated to prevent insect (including dust mites) and moth damage. The treatment process also prevents the growth of mildew and mould.

Research shows that 10% of heating loss occurs through flooring.

Underfloor Blanket is supplied in packs of 3.68 sq m comprising 2 x 4m lengths with a width of 460mm.

Thermal value is R1.9.
