Underfloor Insulation

Wool insulation provides the benefits of thermal insulation and sound absorbtion through natural wool fibre bonded into blanket form and attached to the floor joists underneath the premises.  The blanket is covered with a full layer of foil to provide maximum insulating performance.

The foil provides a durable climate barrier designed to resist moisture and withstand wind whilst supporting the wool blanket material between floor joists.

For added protection, material has been treated to prevent insect (including dust mites) and moth damage.  The treatment process also prevents the growth of mildew and mould.  

Research shows that 10% of heating loss occurs through flooring.

Underfloor Blanket is supplied with foil attached in 10 metre rolls at specified widths.  The material has a 50mm overlap on ends and edges to enable stapling to floor joists.
